Job summary

KSB in Trafford Park, Manchester, is hiring an Automotive Skills Development Tutor to design and deliver high-quality training across multiple funding streams. You will support learners to achieve meaningful outcomes by developing knowledge, skills, behaviours and attitudes.

The role requires significant vocational experience, teaching/assessment exposure, and the ability to design engaging learning materials.

Qualifications

• At least five years' vocational industry experience within the specialist subject area.
• Some experience in teaching, learning and assessment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the specialist subject area and relevant professional qualifications.
• Experience of teaching and learning quality standards, OFSTED requirements.
• Qualified, or working towards, a Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design face to face and blended digital sequential curriculum to promote the attainment of retainable knowledge, skills and behaviours.
• Mark/feedback students' work and provide structured actions for learners to undertake to complete their programme.
• Accurately track KSB progress of all learners and effectively risk band their timely progress and achievement against KPI measures.
• Undertake and log industrial and pedological continuing professional development.
• Ensure risk assessments are in place and reviewed annually so that learners are safe.
• Support the team's continual professional attainment and development through leading on and participating in a range of internal quality assurance activities.
