Job summary

Tina Lacey Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Automotive Skills Development Tutor / IQA for the Trafford Park Skills Centre in Manchester. The role is full-time and involves designing and delivering high-quality automotive training across multiple funding streams.

The candidate will manage a learner caseload, design sequential curricula (face-to-face and blended), provide feedback, and track KPI progress. Experience in OFSTED standards and a Diploma in Education and Training is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least five years' vocational industry experience.
• Some experience in teaching, learning and assessment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the specialist subject area and relevant professional qualifications.
• Qualified, or working towards, a Diploma in Education and Training or an equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design face-to-face and blended digital sequential curricula to promote knowledge retention and progress.
• Mark and provide structured feedback on learners' work with actionable next steps.
• Accurately track learner progress against KPI measures and risk-band timely progress and achievement.
• Undertake and log continuing professional development and risk assessments to ensure learner safety.
• Lead internal quality assurance activities and support team development.

Account manages a learner caseload in line with our business KPI's, and to support facilitate progression and securing repeat business. Plan and design face to face and blended digital sequential curriculum to promote the attainment of retainable knowledge, skills and behaviours. Mark/feedback students' work provide structured actions for learners to undertake to complete their programme. Accurately track KSB progress of all learners and effectively risk band their timely progress and achievement against a set of KPI measures. Undertake and log industrial and pedological continuing professional development. Ensure risk assessments are in place and reviewed annually so that learners are safe. Support the team's continual professional attainment and development through leading on and participating in a range of internal quality assurance activities.

About you: At least five year's vocational industry experience within the specialist subject area. Some experience in teaching, learning and assessment. Up-to-date knowledge of the specialist subject area and relevant professional qualifications. Experience of teaching and learning quality standards, particularly Ofsted requirements. Qualified, or working towards, a Diploma in Education and Training or an equivalent qualification.
