Job summary

Prospectus IT Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor at an established automotive dealership in Epsom. You will be the main link between customers and the workshop, managing bookings and ensuring a smooth service journey from initial contact to handover.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, a minimum of 2 years in a service advisory role, experience with workshop coordination, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a Service Advisor
• Experience in automotive/motor industry
• Dealership or busy workshop experience
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
• Strong communication skills (face-to-face & phone)
• Experience coordinating workshop bookings

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and building professional relationships
• Understanding customer requirements and providing clear advice
• Providing accurate estimates for repair costs and completion times
• Booking and scheduling vehicles into the workshop
• Liaising with technicians, workshop control and parts departments
• Considering workshop capacity and parts availability when scheduling
• Keeping customers informed throughout the service and repair process
• Advising customers of additional or recommended work
• Arranging courtesy/loan vehicles when required
• Ensuring a professional experience from booking to handover
