Job summary

Listers Group, a Volkswagen dealership in Stratford-upon-Avon, is hiring a Service Advisor. You will manage bookings, front-of-house customer service and progress updates, coordinating with workshop, parts and sales to keep work flowing smoothly.

Salary: £31,500 basic with bonus, OTE £39,600. Typical hours Mon–Fri with rotating shifts and one Sat in three; benefits include pension, wellness, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service role, ideally hitting targets to deliver customer satisfaction and sales objectives.
• Good organisation and administrative skills.
• Knowledge of dealer management systems would be an advantage.
• Motor trade, automotive or car dealership experience is preferred but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Booking customer vehicles in for maintenance and/or repairs, and liaising with the workshop team to schedule the workload.
• Meeting customers on arrival and providing them with a seamless service, from drop off to vehicle handover.
• Updating customers with progress on their vehicle, as well as authorising additional work and making follow-up calls.
• Liaising with the Workshop, Parts and Sales department to ensure customers vehicles are ready on time.
