Job summary

Arnold Clark is hiring a Service Advisor for our Volkswagen/BYD branch in Rutherglen to cover maternity leave. You will deliver an excellent customer experience for service and vehicle repairs, acting as the main point of contact between customers and the workshop.

The role suits someone with prior customer service experience who enjoys achieving positive outcomes and can thrive in a busy, customer-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role and strong communication.
• Ability to resolve issues and provide clear solutions to customers.
• Comfortable using computer systems to progress service and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer requirements for service and repairs in a professional manner.
• Liaise with workshop and bodyshop to progress work.
• Manage invoicing, purchasing and customer records accurately.
• Explain faults and repairs clearly to customers.
• Upsell where appropriate while protecting customers' interests.
