Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Rutherglen is currently recruiting for a Service Advisor to support our Volkswagen/BYD branch during a maternity leave period. You will deliver an exceptional service experience for customers seeking vehicle servicing and repairs.

The successful candidate will have a customer-focused mindset, strong communication skills and the ability to work with workshop teams to progress jobs, while maintaining accurate customer records.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service role, ideally in automotive.
• Good computer literacy and IT systems knowledge.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fully valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Handle all customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs in an efficient and professional manner.
• Liaise with the workshop and bodyshop to progress work through the system.
• Process invoices and purchasing while protecting the financial interests of the customer and the company.
• Let customers know of faults or repairs found and provide clear and accurate solutions.
• Maintain customer records such as vehicle details and service histories accurately.
• Upsell aftersales products where appropriate.
