Job summary

Sandown Mercedes-Benz in Guildford is seeking a Service Team Advisor to welcome customers, manage vehicle intake, and liaise with the workshop to ensure smooth aftersales. You will discuss requirements, provide cost estimates, and promote accessories during the service process.

The role requires experience in a similar automotive role, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with the Kerridge system. A full driving licence is expected and a 45.5-hour week is provided.

Qualifications

• High levels of attention to detail and highly organised.
• Background in a similar automotive role.
• Knowledge of Kerridge automotive computer system is essential.
• Experience in anticipating and understanding customer needs and demands.
• Maths GCSE grade 5 (C) or above.

Responsibilities

• Receive customers and their vehicles in a friendly and professional manner, discuss and confirm their requirements and take responsibility for the vehicle during its time at the Retailer.
• Work with the workshop team to achieve the highest possible levels of performance.
• Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicle and provide a clear cost estimate for repair work.
• Inform customers about accessories and subsequent fitting of optional extras, and promote accessory campaigns.
• Ensure collection and delivery drivers operate to schedule and meet customer and workshop expectations.
• Capture and load all customer and vehicle data into Kerridge DMS and keep it updated.
