Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Service Advisor to join a busy dealership in Orpington. Applicants must have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, a Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK.

This is an urgent vacancy with a £1,000 sign-on bonus in month one plus £1,000 after 12 months, plus benefits including 25 days’ holiday, training, progression, pension, and more. Hours are Mon-Fri 8-6, with 1 in 5 Saturdays 8-12:30.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor experience is desirable but not essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customers.
• Strong customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact between customers and the workshop.
• Manage customers throughout the vehicle service and repair process.
• Set clear expectations and provide regular progress updates.
• Explain required work, costs and additional services clearly.
• Identify and recommend relevant additional products and services.
• Follow up with customers after completed work to ensure satisfaction.
• Work towards customer service, sales and performance targets.
