Job summary

A recruiting agency in the United Kingdom is searching for a Service Advisor to manage customer bookings and provide excellent service in Reading. Service Advisor / Aftersales Advisor / Automotive Service Advisor (Reading)

Location: Reading

Salary: Up to £30 per year DOE (Apply online only)

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30 plus one in four Saturdays 08:00 to 13:00

Job Type: Full time permanent

What you will do
  • Book vehicles into the workshop to match capacity and customer availability
  • Deal with customers face to face and by phone, keeping them updated on times and costs
  • Produce accurate job card estimates, invoices and warranty paperwork
  • Identify additional work and convert opportunities professionally and ethically
  • Liaise with parts and workshop teams to ensure smooth workflow and on time repairs
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and follow up where needed
What we need from you
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor Aftersales Advisor or similar role in a dealership
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Good organisational ability and accuracy with job cards and paperwork
  • Commercial awareness and confidence discussing additional work with customers
  • Kerridge experience advantageous but not essential
