GSF Car Parts in Thurrock is seeking a Retail Assistant to deliver excellent customer service, drive face-to-face sales, handle click-and-collect orders, and build strong relationships with trade and retail customers.

You will pick parts from the warehouse, assist with promotions, answer queries by phone and email, keep customer areas tidy, and work towards branch KPIs. The role includes a performance-based bonus and 28 days leave.

Formación

• Proven customer service or sales/retail experience in a customer-facing role.
• Target driven and motivated to achieve results.
• Excellent customer service skills with proactive resolution strategies.
• Confident user of IT and computer systems.
• Ability to work well with others and show attention to detail.
• Knowledge of car parts or automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Serve trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders while maximizing sales.
• Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders.
• Assist the sales team on promotions by answering telephone and electronic queries.
• Satisfy customer needs regarding parts orders, returns, or queries.
• Check returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
• Promote a positive team performance and work towards KPIs.
• Keep customer-facing areas clean and tidy and develop relationships with customers.
