Job summary

GSF Car Parts Limited is recruiting a Retail Assistant to deliver excellent customer service and contribute toward branch targets. You will serve trade and retail customers, support click-and-collect orders and promote product promotions.

Responsibilities include picking parts from the warehouse, answering queries by phone and email, processing returns, and maintaining a tidy branch environment. Knowledge of car parts is advantageous, and MS Office skills are desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service or sales experience in a customer-facing role.
• Target-driven and motivated to achieve results.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Positive approach to queries with proactive resolutions.
• Confident user of IT and computer systems.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of car parts or automotive industry advantageous.
• Knowledge of MS Office desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders while maximizing sales where possible.
• Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders.
• Assist the sales team on promotions by answering telephone queries and electronic queries as needed.
• Fully satisfy customer needs in respect of orders, returns, or queries.
• Check returns for resale, warranty or surcharge.
• Contribute to team performance while working on personal benchmarks to drive sales promotions.
• Use the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge and improve performance.
• Keep customer-facing areas of the branch clean and tidy.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and understand their garage needs.
• Promote a good image of the company and maintain a professional appearance.
• Work toward achieving relevant KPI targets.
