Job summary

Auto Skills UK is recruiting a Bodyshop Customer Service Assistant in Heywood to deliver excellent service through the vehicle repair process. You will support day-to-day administration and keep customers informed.

This full-time, permanent role offers a basic salary of £24,000 to £26,000 DOE, with Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm working pattern and a focus on accurate records and clear communication. The ideal candidate is organised, reliable, and comfortable coordinating between customers

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service, reception or administrative role; automotive or bodyshop experience would be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills, with a professional and approachable telephone manner.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident using computers and standard office software.
• Able to manage enquiries, prioritise tasks and maintain accurate records.
• A customer-focused approach, with the ability to remain calm and helpful in a busy environment.
• Reliable, proactive and comfortable working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handling customer enquiries professionally by telephone and email.
• Providing customers with updates on vehicle repairs when information is available.
