Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking caring and resilient staff to support pupils with autism in a welcoming school environment. You will work with dedicated colleagues to deliver individualised curricula, promote life skills, and ensure safety and inclusion for children aged 4–19.

Qualifications

Experience working with children and disabilities.
Patience, resilience and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Ability to support personal care and maintain higiene when required.

Responsibilities

Provide teaching and support to pupils with autism following individualised curriculums.
Plan, prepare and deliver lessons and activities with a focus on life skills.
Support pupil participation in trips and outings.
Provide behaviourally-based support to reduce challenging behaviours.
Provide personal care and promote hygiene.
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to needs.
Assist with breaktime duties including playground and snack time.
