Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Bury for a full-time Autism Support Assistant. You will help children access learning, support 1:1 or small groups, and develop essential life skills in a patient, nurturing environment.

Ideal candidates are empathetic, great communicators, and proactive in adapting strategies to individual needs, building trusted relationships with pupils, staff, and families to support inclusion and success.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting children with autism or additional needs in a school setting is preferred.
• Patient, empathetic and passionate about helping children succeed.
• Confident in adapting support strategies to meet individual needs.
• Strong communicator who can build relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
• Proactive, organized and committed to inclusive education.
