Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking an ASD Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a large SEN school in Newham. You will support pupils with Autism, SLD and SP&L on a day-to-day basis, helping deliver interventions and maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment.

This is a full-time, ASAP-start role with long-term potential. Transferable experience in SEN, resilience and empathy are valued, and you will liaise with Class Teachers, SENDCO and therapists to monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children with SEN (Autism, SLD, SP&L) is ideal.
• Resilience, patience and empathy are valued traits for this role.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and therapists.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEN on a day-to-day basis (ASD, SLD, SP&L and more).
• Liaising with Class Teachers and the SENDCO regarding progress of children.
• Provide a stimulating and safe learning environment for children.
• Delivering specialist interventions.
• Liaising with the school's therapists.
