Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking an Autism Support Assistant for a Newham secondary school in London. The role involves providing 1:1 or small group support to students with ASD to aid learning, emotional well‑being, and social skills in a school setting.

You will work to promote inclusion, independence, and progress tracking, collaborating with teachers and SENCO to monitor safety and progress. This is a full-time, term-time only position starting ASAP.

Qualifications

• Experience with ASD or SEN children.
• Understanding of how ASD impacts learning/behaviour.
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
