Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking an ASD Specialist Teaching Assistant for a large SEN School in Newham. You will support pupils with Autism, SLD, and SP&L, with some pupils verbal and others non-verbal.

This ASAP-start, long-term, full-time role offers a daily rate of £90–£110 and requires you to liaise with Class Teachers and SENDCO while delivering specialist interventions in a stimulating, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN including Autism, SLD and SP&L.
• Transferable skills considered; direct school experience not required.
• must be resilient, patient and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEN on a day-to-day basis (ASD, SLD, SP&L and more).
• Liaise with Class Teachers and SENDCO regarding progress of children.
• Provide a stimulating and safe learning environment for children.
• Deliver specialist interventions and liaise with therapists.
