Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrate English and Maths skills equivalent to Level 2.
• A qualification relevant to Specific Learning Difficulties at Level 2 or above.
• Experience in working with learners on a 1-2-1 basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide support 1:1 in-class, or mentoring support outside the classroom.
• Assist the class lecturer in preparing materials for students.
• Promote independent learning through the use of technologies.

Ability to motivate students

Experience supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Condition

Knowledge of Educational Health and Care Plans

Good administrative and record keeping skills

Education
