Job summary

Cooper Parry in Manchester is recruiting Audit Trainees to start in January 2027. You will join a close-knit team delivering statutory audits for a diverse client base and begin hands-on experience from day one while studying for your ACA qualification.

Whether you’re a recent graduate or a school leaver, you’ll be supported to develop essential auditing skills, manage multiple priorities, and grow within a progressive firm that values people and growth.

Qualifications

• Completed degree and at least 3 A Levels (BBC) including a numerical or business subject.
• Same A Level requirements apply for school leavers; if grades were disrupted, talk to us.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and documenting client information—invoices, bank statements, payroll reports.
• Assessing the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
• Attending client year-end stocktakes (weekends/around Christmas).
• Speaking with client finance teams to understand their systems and processes.
• Assisting in preparing financial statements using our audit software.
• Working in small teams to carry out financial testing and contribute to audit reports.
• Meeting deadlines and supporting your team to deliver high-quality work.
