Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK seeks an Assistant Manager to lead Audit Technology Support & Implementation. You will bridge offshore delivery with onshore management, delivering hands-on support and ensuring quality across ATTs for diverse audit teams.

You will coach offshore analysts, review outputs, manage tickets, and drive continuous improvement with strong audit judgement and a collaborative approach across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience within audit, audit support, data analytics or technology-enabled audit environments.
• Strong understanding of audit processes and ability to apply judgement in practical scenarios.
• Experience supporting or working with audit technology, data tools or analytics solutions.
• Strong problem-solving capability and ability to work through complex queries and datasets.
• Ability to coach and support more junior team members.
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced support environment.
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to audit teams for complex queries and audit judgement outputs.
• Act as the first escalation point for offshore data analysts and support resolution of advanced queries.
• Review outputs produced by offshore team members for accuracy and consistency.
• Coach, train and support offshore team members on tools and service standards.
• Monitor incoming tickets and prioritise workload with the Manager to optimise delivery.
• Own complex or sensitive issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Engage with audit teams for complex cases, providing clear explanations and guidance.
• Identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvement across processes and knowledge bases.
• Support onboarding of new tools into the support model and offshore training.
