Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK are seeking an Assistant Manager to lead Audit Technology Support & Implementation. You will bridge offshore delivery and onshore management, delivering complex, audit-focused technical support and overseeing quality control across offshore analysts.

You will coach junior staff, review outputs, and manage escalations while driving continuous improvement in tooling, guidance, and processes for our audit teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in audit support, data analytics or technology-enabled audit.
• Ability to apply audit judgement in practical scenarios.
• Experience with audit technology, data tools or analytics.
• Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to coach and support junior colleagues.
• Clear, effective communication for non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to audit teams for complex queries.
• Serve as first escalation point for offshore data analysts.
• Review outputs from offshore team for accuracy and consistency.
• Coach, train and support offshore team members on tools and standards.
• Monitor tickets and support demand with management for prioritisation.
• Own complex or sensitive issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Engage audit teams with clear, practical explanations and guidance.
• Identify recurring issues and drive knowledge sharing improvements.
• Develop and maintain guidance materials and FAQs.
• Ensure offshore team adherence to processes and SLAs.
• Collaborate with Manager and Director on performance risks and improvements.
• Support onboarding of new tools and offshore training.
