Job summary

Forvis Mazars LLP in the United Kingdom seeks an Assistant Manager - Audit Technology Support & Implementation to deliver hands-on support for Audit Tools and Techniques (ATTs). The role bridges offshore delivery with onshore management, assuring quality, guidance, and scalable support while coaching offshore analysts.

You will manage complex queries, oversee offshore performance, and contribute to tool onboarding and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Experience within audit, audit support, data analytics or technology-enabled audit environments.
• Strong understanding of audit processes with practical judgement.
• Experience supporting or working with audit technology, data tools or analytics solutions.
• Ability to coach and support more junior team members.
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to audit teams for more complex queries, including those requiring audit judgement or interpretation of results.
• Act as the first escalation point for offshore data analysts, supporting resolution of queries that cannot be addressed through standard processes.
• Review outputs produced by offshore team members for accuracy, consistency and quality.
• Coach, train and support offshore team members, providing guidance on handling queries, use of tools, and service standards.
• Monitor incoming tickets and support demand, coordinating with the Manager to allocate and prioritise work.
• Take ownership of complex or sensitive issues, ensuring thorough investigation and timely resolution.
• Engage directly with audit teams on complex cases, offering clear explanations and guidance.
• Identify recurring issues and knowledge gaps, escalating for continuous improvement.
• Support onboarding of new tools into the support model and offshore training.
