Job Description

As an Audit Senior in Chester the successful candidate will manage and complete audits for small and medium-sized clients, prepare audit files and statutory accounts, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company standards. Key requirements include ACA/ACCA qualification or active study, proven audit and accounts experience in practice, strong communication skills, and excellent time management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Audit Senior should have:

  • Part/Fully Qualified in ACA/ACCA
  • 1-2 Years minimum experience in an Accountancy practice
  • Be able to commute to Chester 3 times per week
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit procedures and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members.
  • A detail-oriented and proactive approach to work.
