The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) is looking for a friendly, organised Audiences and Memberships Officer to join our newly formed team. This varied role sits at the heart of how we look after our audiences and members, combining customer service, membership communications, and concert support into one brief.

You’ll be the day-to-day contact across channels, handling queries, sending communications, renewals, records and fulfilment, with regular evening and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or membership roles preferred.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Be the day-to-day contact for audiences and members across multiple channels.
• Process renewals, maintain records and fulfilment.
• Coordinate communications and assist with concert support and customer queries.

Job description

The CBSO is looking for a friendly, organised, andproactive person to join our newly formed Audiences and Memberships team. Thisis a varied role sitting at the heart of how we look after our audiences andmembers – bringing together customer service, membership communications, andconcert support into a single brief.

You’ll be the day-to-day point of contact for our audiencesand members across multiple channels: answering queries, sendingcommunications, and being a familiar face at concerts. The Audiences andMemberships Officer handles the administrative side of membership (renewals,records, and fulfilment) which means this role is focused on theoutward-facing, communicative work that makes members and audiences feelgenuinely looked after.

Attention to detail and a warm, professional manner areequally important here. This role will require regular evening and occasionalweekend work.
