Job summary

Clifton All Saints Academy in Bedfordshire is seeking an Attendance and Inclusion Teaching Assistant to support the school's vulnerable pupils with attendance and inclusion in school life and in the classroom. The role involves monitoring attendance, engaging families to overcome barriers and promoting an inclusive environment across year groups including our pre-school.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable pupils with attendance and SEND.
• Ability to work with families and schools to improve attendance.
• Experience with 1:1 support and learning barriers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily registers and track attendance patterns.
• Engage with parents to explain absences.
• Provide inclusion support for pupils facing barriers.
• Maintain pupil records and prepare documentation.
• Liaise with external agencies and services.
• Deliver 1:1 support for pupils with SEND.
• Support lunchtime supervision.
