Teaching Personnel in Milton Keynes is seeking an Attendance Improvement Leader to join its Attendance Team from November. The role focuses on promoting regular attendance, identifying barriers and supporting pupils and families to improve punctuality.

A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking an Attendance Improvement Leader to join its dedicated Attendance Team from November.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, empathetic and organised individual who is passionate about improving outcomes for young people. The successful candidate will work closely with the Attendance Improvement Manager and wider school team to promote positive attendance, identify barriers and support pupils and families to improve attendance and punctuality.

As Attendance Improvement Leader, you will play an important role in developing a positive culture around attendance across the Academy.

Your responsibilities will include:

The Attendance Team plays a vital role in maintaining and improving pupil attendance across the Academy.

Led by the Attendance Improvement Manager and supported by two Attendance Support Officers, the team works collaboratively to implement the school's attendance strategy, support vulnerable learners and promote a positive culture of regular attendance.

The Attendance Improvement Leader will have the opportunity to make a direct impact by working with pupils and families, identifying barriers and helping students attend school regularly and on time.
