We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, flexible and highly motivated individual to work alongside our school leaders, admin staff and class teachers to improve attendance and inclusion through working with pupils and parents. Our Attendance and Inclusion Teaching Assistant will help track student attendance, supports families to overcome barriers to coming to school, and promotes an inclusive environment for all children

The AIA will assist the school Inclusion and Attendance lead/SENDCo, colleagues, school and the Local Authority in maintaining effective contact and communication with parents/carers and families where support and intervention are needed and/or ongoing.
In the afternoon the AITA will work as a teaching assistant supporting individuals with their learning.
The AITA will aim to improve and maintain school attendance figures and provide support to pupils. The AIA will also engage with parents/carers and families to encourage good attendance and provide support to improve attendance and learning outcomes for pupils
Our AITA will provide a complementary service to teaching and other staff, addressing the needs of children who require assistance in overcoming barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential, or accessing the curriculum.
The AITA will work with a range of pupils especially those experiencing multiple disadvantages including children with special or medical needs including SEMH, children with challenging behaviour and children with a statement of special educational needs.
We will hold rolling interviews until the positions are filled.
