Job summary

Kingsbury Green Academy is seeking an Attendance Liaison Assistant to join the attendance and safeguarding team. You will work to improve student attendance, punctuality and engagement, building positive relationships with pupils and families and coordinating early interventions.

This is a permanent, part-time role (35 hours, term time only 39 weeks) with a 08:00-15:30 day schedule. Salary is pro rata within NJC Grade G12-14, with interviews on 4th November 2026 and an expected start date as

Salary: NJC Grade G12-14 - £29,064 - £31,022 (DOE) FTE

Actual Salary: £23,647 - £25,240 (DOE) pro rata

Contract: Permanent, Part Time (35 Hours) & Term Time only (39 weeks)

Monday to Friday 08:00-15:30 (with a half hour unpaid break)

Job Overview

To work as part of the school's attendance and safeguarding team to improve student attendance, punctuality and engagement with education. The post holder will build positive relationships with pupils and families, provide early intervention and support, undertake attendance-related home visits, and coordinate appropriate interventions to address barriers to school attendance.
