Job summary

NoteMachine, Newcastle-based ATM provider, seeks a Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair the nationwide ATM network, ensuring maximum uptime and reliable service for customers across the UK.

Based in Newcastle, you’ll work independently in the field, diagnosing faults, performing second-line repairs, and delivering excellent customer service while following health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in electro-mechanical field service work.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer-focused approach and safety-conscious.
• Full UK driving licence with minimal penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out second-line break-fix repairs and preventative maintenance across ATM estate (Triton, NCR, Wincor).
• Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues efficiently and safely.
• Deliver high levels of customer service during site visits.
• Record repairs and parts usage accurately and complete quality checks.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and adhere to safety protocols.
