AECOM is seeking an Associate Hydrologist to lead hydrological assessments for flood risk, water resources and environmental permits. You can be based at a UK or Ireland office with a flexible hybrid model.

You will oversee technical work, mentor staff, engage clients, and contribute to business growth across national and international projects. Strong leadership and GIS skills are essential.

Formación

• Degree in Hydrology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• 15+ years of leading flood flow estimation using FEH/REFH2 for flood mapping.
• Strong understanding of statistical hydrology and model calibration.
• Experience leading teams and client engagement.

Responsabilidades

• Technically lead flood hydrological assessments for flood schemes and reservoir projects.
• Review and verify hydrological reports and outputs.
• Support business development for national and international projects.
• Mentor staff in hydrological estimation and professional development.
• Represent the team at conferences and drive innovative AI-enabled solutions.
