AECOM is seeking an Associate Hydrologist to lead hydrological assessments, support flood risk management and infrastructure planning across the UK and beyond. This senior role requires technical excellence, client engagement, and team leadership within a growing Water team.

You will contribute to project oversight, drive innovation including AI solutions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary experts while benefiting from a flexible hybrid working model.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Hydrology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Geography, or related discipline.
• Evidence of significant experience leading flood flow estimation using FEH/REFH2 for flood mapping.

Aufgaben

• Technically lead or verify flood hydrological assessments for flood alleviation schemes and reservoir engineering.
• Review reports documenting hydrological assessments.
• Support business development for national and international projects.
• Mentor staff in hydrological estimation to support development.
• Build relationships with clients and other technical disciplines.
• Keep up-to-date with legislation and guidelines affecting services.
