Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate / Associate Director to lead project management across civil infrastructure sectors in the UK. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, drive client relationships, and focus on sustainability and net-zero outcomes.

The role combines leadership with hands-on project delivery, influencing programme management, risk, and cost controls. You will work with clients and internal teams to expand WSP’s PMCM services, ensuring excellence in delivery across highways, rail, civils

Qualifications

• Recognised qualifications (PMP, APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Experience managing large-scale, multidisciplinary infrastructure programmes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and client management abilities.
• Financial acumen including cost management and budget forecasting.
• Experience with NEC3/4 ECC contracts is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop high-performing project teams across PMCM sectors.
• Drive business growth and build strong client relationships with a focus on net zero and sustainability.
• Collaborate with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and functional leaders across PMCM disciplines.
• Balance leadership with project delivery and expand the project management offering.
