AtkinsRéalis UK Limited seeks an Associate Director Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design delivery on complex water sector projects. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams across UK and international assignments, ensuring high-quality outputs and timely milestones.

The role requires Chartered Mechanical Engineer status, strong leadership, and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels. Hybrid working with 3 days on-site office-based in the UK is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale mechanical design delivery in a multi-disciplinary setting.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, collaboration and project governance across national/international projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of mechanical engineers delivering design work on complex projects.
• Develop design deliverables for mechanical aspects within multi-disciplinary projects and manage time/budgets.
• Produce and review technical deliverables: reports, drawings, calculations, scopes of work.
