Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate or Associate Director, EIA, to grow our nationwide UK environmental team and lead Environmental Impact Assessments across diverse sectors. You will coordinate multidisciplinary inputs and work with clients to shape development proposals.

You will manage bids, mentor colleagues and drive innovation in EIA processes, including HRA and permitting, across projects from feasibility through consent.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) under UK planning regimes.
• Familiar with Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) and Environmental Permit processes.
• Proven ability to lead bids, proposals and client communications.
• Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and ensure high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate environmental contributions across project designs and assessments.
• Deliver environmental inputs to a range of projects UK-wide.
• Direct and lead projects including recruitment, bids, team management and delivery.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to support project strategy.
• Promote sustainable design and environmental enhancement.
