Qualifications

• PhD in human genetics or related field with substantial post-PhD experience.
• Experience integrating genetics and omics with cohort or patient data for disease understanding.
• 5+ years of leadership in drug/target discovery within pharma/biotech.
• Experience leading multi-site scientific teams and hands-on technical work.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management with senior partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of ~7 scientists across the UK and Denmark.
• Use human genetics, multi-omics and patient data to identify subgroups and hypotheses.
• Co-lead scientific campaigns with therapeutic area teams to define evidence need.
• Set scientific and operational direction with Data Science leaders and AI/ Digital teams.
• Guide AI/ML deployment in disease biology and support academic collaborations.
