Job summary

Pharmanovia is seeking a Medical Director for the UK and Nordics to lead Medical Affairs in oncology, translating global strategy into local plans and ensuring medical insights shape launches and market access. You will oversee a UK-based MSL team, manage KOL relationships, and drive evidence generation and medical education efforts.

The role combines senior medical leadership with strategic execution across the UK and Nordic markets, requiring deep oncology expertise and a strong track record

Qualifications

• Senior medical leadership experience in pharma/biotech.
• Experience leading Medical Affairs functions, MSLs or country-level teams.
• Strong understanding of UK healthcare environment, NICE/NHS processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior Medical Affairs leadership for UK oncology portfolio.
• Develop and execute prioritised Medical Affairs strategies across the UK.
• Lead UK Medical Affairs and MSL team with coaching and performance oversight.
• Support UK medical readiness for oncology launches from pre-launch through post-launch.
• Build high-quality relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and clinicians.
• Drive evidence generation, advisory boards, and medical education initiatives.
