Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UK seeks an Associate or Associate Director Civil Engineer to join our Civil Engineering team, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across major infrastructure, transportation, energy, water, aviation, and development projects.

You will oversee design and delivery across a diverse portfolio, mentor engineers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive value and ensure delivery from feasibility through construction, with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering design and project delivery.
• A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered or Incorporated status with ICE or equivalent, or ability to become chartered within 12 months.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
• A commitment to innovation, sustainability and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and delivery of civil engineering solutions across a diverse project portfolio.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple disciplines to develop integrated and sustainable outcomes for clients.
• Support project delivery from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design and construction.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project partners.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to developing engineers.
• Champion innovation, continuous improvement and the adoption of new technologies within the business.
• Help identify opportunities that create additional value for clients and communities.
