Job summary

AtkinsRéalis, through its Design & Advanced Technology Practice, is seeking an Associate Director Civil Engineer to lead civil design on complex land development projects in the UK and internationally. The role involves managing a team, delivering high-quality designs and working with clients across private and public sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Civil Engineer with proven leadership in large-scale civil design.
• Experience delivering civil design in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Knowledge of drainage, utilities, pavements and earthworks.
• Strong communication across diverse stakeholders and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of civil engineers delivering technical design for complex multi-disciplinary projects.
• Develop project design deliverables for Civil aspects and manage time and budgets to milestones.
• Review and approve technical deliverables (reports, drawings, calculations).
• Provide technical leadership within the D&AT practice and promote best practices.
• Grow and manage Civil Engineering capabilities regionally/nationally.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in the UK and abroad to deliver integrated designs.
