Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Associate or Associate Director Civil Engineer to join its growing Civil Engineering team in the UK. You will oversee civil design across major projects, mentor engineers, and help deliver sustainable, integrated solutions from concept to construction.

The role offers hybrid working with multiple office bases across the UK, aligning with a diverse portfolio spanning infrastructure, transportation, energy and development projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering design and project delivery.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered or Incorporated with ICE or capable of becoming chartered within 12 months.
• Experience in multidisciplinary project environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commitment to innovation, sustainability and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and delivery of civil engineering solutions across a diverse project portfolio.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to deliver integrated outcomes.
• Support project delivery from feasibility and concept design through to construction.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and partners.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to developing engineers.
• Champion innovation and adoption of new technologies.
• Identify opportunities to create additional value for clients and communities.
