Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to lead the design and delivery of diverse civil engineering solutions across major infrastructure and development projects in the UK. The role offers collaboration across disciplines, progression toward technical leadership, and a supportive, high-performing team environment.

You will contribute to feasibility through to construction, mentor engineers, and help drive innovation while working within a flexible, hybrid arrangement

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering design and project delivery.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered or Incorporated status with ICE or ability to become chartered within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of civil engineering solutions across a diverse project portfolio.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple disciplines to deliver integrated, sustainable outcomes.
• Support project delivery from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design and construction.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project partners.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developing engineers.
• Contribute to innovation and adoption of new technologies.
• Identify opportunities to create additional value for clients and communities.
