Job Description:

Amazon is innovating in the Operations and Logistics space and looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, and analytical Account Manager for the UK. We seek an account manager excited about working in a start-up environment, with familiarity in B2B sales and account management for Medium to Extra Large customers.

The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating ambiguity, developing relationships across diverse customer bases, driving commercial growth, and collaborating with teams such as Business, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and IT. A proven track record of exceeding program goals and revenue targets is essential.

This role is based in London, with possible moderate travel (up to 25%).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Own strategy and commercial growth of customers
  2. Drive revenue, adoption, and market share for our product
  3. Build trust with customers and recommend product solutions to meet their needs, exceeding revenue and feature adoption targets
  4. Measure performance, analyze root causes, and identify improvement areas
  5. Communicate market segment needs to internal teams
  6. Analyze purchasing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  7. Promote product adoption and best practices among customers
  8. Assess risks, anticipate challenges, and manage escalations

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in a professional or military field
  • Experience generating new opportunities, managing pipelines, and executing deals through the sales cycle
  • Proven success in exceeding quotas and KPIs
  • Experience in business development, partnership management, or sourcing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Success in outbound account management or prospecting roles in B2B environments, especially in solution/technology sectors
  • Advanced Salesforce.com skills, including dashboard/report development and programming experience
