Job summary

City of Doncaster Council is seeking an Assistive Technology Installation Officer for the HEART Service based at Holmescarr Centre, Rossington, Doncaster. This permanent, part-time role (26.25 hours per week) involves visiting residents to install and maintain assistive tech and telecare equipment to support independence at home.

You will work within safeguarding and data protection guidelines, complete annual reviews, and keep accurate records, with a focus on compassionate, person-centred

Qualifications

• Experience with assistive technology and telecare is preferred.
• Ability to follow safeguarding, health and safety and data protection procedures.
• Excellent communication and compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, maintain, exchange and disconnect assistive technology equipment in residents' homes.
• Visit residents to ensure equipment supports independence and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and follow up as needed.
• Collaborate with Adult Social Care and partner organisations.
