Job summary

RSA in Glasgow is seeking an Assistant Underwriter to join our eTrade team. The first 6 months are office-based with a comprehensive training program to equip you with underwriting skills and knowledge.

After this, the role moves to hybrid working, offering excellent development, mentoring, and exposure to UK insurance brokers across the region. You’ll work with brokers on various policies, focus on first-contact resolution, and build your ability with a technical coach on complex risks, while

• Previous experience within a customer service environment.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy and fast-paced environment.
• Desire to help customers, with the ability to listen and understand needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Insurance Brokers across the UK underwriting various insurance policies.
• Drive excellent customer service with brokers and aim to resolve in the first contact.
