Job summary

Vision Express Sutton is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our busy eyewear retail team. This role supports the Store Manager, motivates staff, and drives customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead and coach colleagues, manage daily operations and KPIs, and assist with recruitment and onboarding to deliver outstanding service and sales results at Vision Express Sutton.

Looking for your next step in retail management?

We're recruiting an Assistant Store Manager to join our Vision Express Sutton store. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supervisor, Team Leader or Deputy Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment and knows how to get the best from a team.

Optics experience isn't essential. We're looking for a confident leader who can motivate colleagues, deliver outstanding customer service and support the Store Manager in driving store performance.

What You'll Do

• Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store
• Lead, coach and develop colleagues
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Drive sales performance and key store KPIs
• Support recruitment, onboarding and colleague engagement

What We're Looking For

• Experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Deputy Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Experience motivating teams to achieve results
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and confidence using KPIs
• A proactive, adaptable approach
• Optical experience is beneficial but not required
