Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a large-scale, high-volume housing development in Gobowen, West Midlands. The role supports the Site Manager to keep the project on time, safe and to high-quality standards.

Typical duties include coordinating subcontractors, monitoring construction progress and ensuring site procedures are followed in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a short-term start with potential for a long-term permanent role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience on large-scale new-build housing developments.
• Experience as an Assistant Site Manager within new build housing.
• Experience with traditional build and timber frame construction.
• SMSTS preferred, SSSTS will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day management of the development under the Site Manager.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades, monitor progress and quality.
• Maintain health & safety standards and site procedures.
• Ensure work is delivered on programme and to required standards.
