Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality residential developments in Bristol and surrounding areas. You will oversee site teams, subcontractors, materials, and maintain safety, quality, and programme delivery.

Reporting to Contracts Manager, you will manage budgets, attend meetings, coordinate inspections including NHBC, and drive best practices while supporting customer handovers and post-handover issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Senior Site Manager in residential construction.
• Strong track record delivering on time and on budget.
• Knowledge of NHBC standards and Building Regulations.
• Experience managing large site teams and multiple subcontractors.
• Current SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of residential developments on schedule and budget.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and labour.
• Coordinate programmes, materials, and site logistics.
• Maintain high workmanship and site presentation.
• Monitor costs, subcontractor performance and programme.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate NHBC inspections.
• Deliver toolbox talks and site briefings.
• Identify and mitigate risks across construction, programme, and quality.
• Liaise with commercial, technical, sales, and customer care.
• Support customer handovers and resolve issues.
• Maintain site records and project documentation.
• Lead and motivate site management teams and drive improvements.
