Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for a residential development near Sittingbourne. You will report to the Senior Site Manager and take ownership of your plots, driving progress from roofing to handover while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires proven residential housebuilding experience, strong organisation and communication, and the ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate trades on a volume development.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential housebuilding is essential.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A practical approach to solving problems on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate subcontractors across allocated plots.
• Take plots from roof stage through to completion and handover.
• Monitor build quality and ensure works are completed correctly first time.
• Coordinate trades to maintain momentum against the build programme.
• Support external works where required.
• Prepare plots for NHBC inspections and ensure standards are met.
• Identify problems early and work with the Senior Site Manager to resolve them.
• Maintain health & safety standards across the area.
• Keep plots organised for the next trade.
• Build good relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist with programme planning and upcoming workloads.
