Job summary

Barratt Developments plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Site Assistant Manager to support the Site Manager in delivering projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

You will coordinate trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme, attend Sales/Build meetings and inspect show homes, deputise for the Site Manager as needed, ensure the on-site team is well resourced with clear responsibilities, and maintain excellent customer service at all

Qualifications

• Experience with established build programs.
• Assertive to ensure delivery by the on-site team.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
• Member of CIOB and/or qualified to NVQ level in Construction Management or time served tradesman.
• In depth knowledge of all aspects of construction trades and relevant legislative requirements (H&S, NHBC, Building Regulations).
• Good knowledge of customer service issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme.
• Attend Sales/Build meetings and inspect show homes.
• Deputise for the Site Manager when required.
• Ensure the on-site Construction team is fully resourced with clear job responsibilities.
• Deliver excellent customer service to customers.
