Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking a Site Manager to join our Manchester-based construction teams, delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will assist the Site Manager in coordinating trades, managing site resources, and ensuring customer service excellence across all show homes and stakeholder touchpoints.

Experience with established build programs, strong leadership, and knowledge of Health & Safety and NHBC requirements are

Qualifications

• Experience of working within established build programs.
• Assertive to ensure delivery of targets by the on-site team and trades/labour.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and/or NVQ level in Construction Management or time served tradesman with experience.
• In-depth knowledge of construction trades, Health & Safety, NHBC requirements and Building Regulations.
• Strong customer service knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme.
• Attend Sales/Build meetings with the Sales Team and inspect show homes.
• Deputise for the Site Manager when required.
• Ensure the on-site Construction team is resourced and guided with clear responsibilities.
• Deliver excellent customer service to customers in line with company guidelines.
