Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking a Site Manager to assist in delivering construction projects across multiple sites in the UK. You will support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, labour and materials to meet the production programme and ensure quality and cost targets are achieved.

The role requires experience with established build programs, assertive delivery, and strong knowledge of health and safety standards, NHBC and Building Regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within established build programs.
• Assertive to ensure delivery of targets by the on-site team and trades/labour.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
• Member of CIOB and/or NVQ in Construction Management or time-served tradesman with broad construction trades experience.
• In-depth knowledge of construction trades and relevant legislation (Health and Safety, NHBC, Building Regulations).
• Strong knowledge of Customer Service issues.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme.
• Attend Sales/Build meetings with Sales Team and inspect show homes.
• Deputise for the Site Manager when required.
• Ensure on-site team is fully resourced with clear job responsibilities, training and development.
• Deliver excellent customer service in line with company guidelines.
